Approaching Retirement

Retirement

Occurs when a person withdraws from a position, occupation, or vocation, representing an end to their active working career.

We Get Retirement...

We just don’t like the word or its negative interpretations.  Sure, it’s the end of something, but not everything.  We prefer a more optimistic perspective:

“You’re entering into a season of life that features freedom, flexibility, and opportunity.”

It’s ‘your new beginning,’ and it could be BETTER!  Properly planned, it could even be a period of growth, purpose, and fulfillment.

So, congratulations! You deserve to be excited!

Putting the Finishing Touches in Place

You’ve spent decades saving, investing, and planning for this significant event.  You believe you’re ready.  Still, voluntarily leaving the workforce is one of the biggest decisions of your life.  To fund your lifestyle, you’ll be leaning on your investments and relying on third parties to keep their pension and Social Security promises.

The biggest question people have at this moment is, “Do we have enough?”  Now is the time to make sure the numbers in your financial plan still add up, that all your i’s are dotted and t’s are crossed.  Your life could get complicated if you don’t get this decision right.

This is also an excellent time to review your estate plan, put medical and statutory powers of attorney in place, and make decisions about how you’ll fund your senior living and potential long-term care needs.

The good news is we’ve gone through this process hundreds of times and thrive when answering these questions, producing output of this importance, and creating scenarios at this level of detail.

Your New Beginning of Growth, Purpose & Fulfillment

Here’s your successful outcome: working for a paycheck is optional, and your career is complete.  However, that doesn’t mean your work will be finished; you just have the flexibility to do what you want when you want to.

Because you’re a high achiever, ‘staying busy’ is not an ideal new beginning.  Not knowing how you will spend your time is often an obstacle to overcome when approaching ‘decision time.’

Our experience and perspective distinctly positions us to answer your non-financial questions, such as, "What will I do?" Our Founder is currently writing the manuscript for a book on this topic, Relevant Living: Your New Beginning of Growth, Purpose & Fulfillment.

Our team is already incorporating Relevant Living concepts and exercises into our comprehensive financial planning for clients.

Our Promise

You'll get a clear and comprehensive review of your financial plan. We'll make sure it incorporates the plans you have for your life. But we won't stop there; we'll support your journey towards a future of growth, purpose and fulfillment.
